RIO Calibration

Description

Only commissioned controllers may be calibrated. The input sensors to a controller need to be calibrated. This is done by applying a correction to the sensor input.

Purpose

Adjust sensor offset values for a controller.

Mode

On-line

Procedure

  1. Right click on the RIO controller and select Calibrate option.
  2. Alternatively, select Controller menu and choose Calibrate to open the Calibrate Controller dialog box.
  3. Select RIO and click OK.
  4. A calibration screen specific to RIO controller displays.

Typically, the calibration screen provides a list of sensors for selection. After selecting a sensor, the actual value of the sensor displays. Enter an edit value that represents the true value the sensor should be detecting. Click the Calibrate button to store the offset value in the controller.
